Housing maintenance costs in Turkey are the expenses an owner pays after purchasing a property.

1. Aidat (Monthly Complex Fee)

In complexes with a pool, elevator, security, sauna, and gym, residents pay a monthly aidat for maintenance.
Approximate costs:

Basic building: 200–500 TL
Mid-range complex: 700–1,500 TL
Premium complex: 2,000–5,000 TL and above

2. Utilities

Electricity: 1,000–3,000 TL/month
Water: 100–400 TL/month
Gas (if available): varies by region and usage.

3. Taxes and Fees

Annual property tax: 0.1–0.2% of cadastral value.
Garbage collection tax: 200–300 TL/year.

4. Insurance

DASK (compulsory earthquake insurance): 300–1,500 TL/year.
Optional home insurance: 1,000–4,000 TL/year.
